Our 6th grade Social Studies classes went on their field trip to JA BizTown. Students were able to interact within a simulated economy and take on the challenge of starting
and running a business. After in-class curriculum around the circular flow of the economy and what it means to be a citizen, students were given a job within one of the many storefronts in JA BizTown. They learned what it’s like to work that job!

Our first ever DMS competition cheerleading team got 4th place out of 10 great teams on Saturday at Buford’s GHSA competition! Congratulations to athletes and coaches who have put in so much hard work to get this started!! They will continue competing at more events this year!

Huge congratulations to the DMS Girls Cross Country Team for bringing home the County Championship title this morning! 💪❤️It’s been an incredible season!
With three runners finishing in the top 10, and every girl stepping up for the team, this victory was a team effort. We’re so proud of each and every runner. You earned this win together!
