Drop Off/Pick Up Instructions

Dear Parents, 

On your designated day, you may come to Davis Middle between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, using the car rider line, to return all Chromebooks, library books, and other school materials. Refunds will also be given from cancelled field trips in the car rider line if applicable.  If your student has anything to be picked up, please use the bus rider lane during the same times.  Grade level teachers will be there to say hello on their day and collect/distribute the materials.  If you are unsure about what items you have checked out (Chromebooks, library books), click HERE.

Pickup/drop-off dates by grade level:

5/18 6th Grade
5/19 7th Grade
5/20 8th Grade
5/21 Sibling Day for those with more than one student at DMS and/or FBHS
5/22 Final Collection Day

Stations will be set up via a drive-thru system using this map.  Please stop at each station. Exchanges will occur through the passenger side window so that we can all maintain social distancing protocols. Please remain in your vehicles at all times. Prior to arrival, please write the name or names of the children you are picking up items for and be ready to display the sign at each station.

Station 1 will be for parent check-in.

Station 2 will be for library book and Chromebook return. Please make sure that you have the charging cord with the Chromebook.

Station 3 will be for refunds from field trips, etc.

Station 4 will be for the return of student belongings left at school, yearbooks, pictures, etc.  Please know that some items may not have arrived by these dates. If not, we will establish a plan for an additional distribution.  This will be at the bus ramp.  We ask if you are picking up, you go here first in order to make a right turn on to Falcon Parkway and into our front parking lot.


IMPORTANT: For your convenience, families with multiple children have the option of exchanging all items on the same day. Please notify the staff member at Station 1 if you are choosing this option.

Please remember that cafeteria funds will remain on student accounts for next year. If your child is not returning to a Hall County school, please contact our front office and we will assist you. 

As an option for those families who are expecting a refund for cancelled field trips, etc., you can choose to send the total amount to your child’s cafeteria account or donate it to Hall County’s Beyond the Books campaign, which is collecting money for the Georgia Mountain Food Bank. We cannot do a split option.  For those who owe cafeteria charges, the refund will first go to pay them and the remaining balance will be refunded.
