Toy Donations at DMS

Beginning Monday, Nov. 11, 2019, visit the DMS Learning Commons and choose an ornament from the Christmas tree!

You can choose to support one of two organizations: Hall County Family Promise’s Christmas Promise Store or Salvation Army Angel Tree.

Blue and white angel-shaped ornaments are supporting Salvation Army Angel Tree.  All other ornament shapes are supporting the Christmas Promise Store.

The ornaments are labeled with gift ideas.  Please attach the ornament to your unwrapped gifts and bring them to the Learning Commons Nov. 11 – Dec. 5, 2019.

Salvation Army Angel Tree

Each year, our community adopts “angels” – children living at or below the federal index poverty level.  Your help will bring smiles on Christmas morning!

How It Works:

Choose a paper angel tag from your school’s Angel Tree. On each tag, you’ll find an angel’s name, age, and Christmas wish list. While you’re doing your holiday shopping, simply purchase the items on the Angel’s list, and bring the unwrapped gifts back to DMS by the designated date.

It’s an easy, fun way to make Christmas brighter for a child or family in need. Thank you for being someone’s Angel this holiday season!

Christmas Promise 2019

Empowerment SHOPS Here

The Christmas Promise Store is a program of Family Promise of Hall County. It was birthed in 2018 out of a desire to empower families in our community by providing a Christmas Store where they can shop and purchase gifts for their children at drastically reduced prices. Last year 40 families shopped for 114 children – over 850 toys were donated and 43 volunteers served. This year our goal is to serve 250 families!

TOY DONATIONS: Donations of new toys ONLY please!

  • A tree will be set up in the Learning Commons with ornaments which feature gift ideas. Students can take an ornament and then purchase the items (or something similar) from their favorite store.
  • Toys may be dropped off at Davis Middle School in the Learning Commons
